Thanks to the boundless generosity of our members, our “Donation Matching Challenge” raised $15,265.37 for Honor Flight South Florida.

Power Financial Credit Union has always had a deep appreciation for our military community. As a way to say thank you to our hometown heroes and celebrate Veterans Day, Power Financial Credit Union is proud to launch a donation matching challenge to support Honor Flight South Florida.

It is part of our DNA as a credit union to give back to our community, but it’s even more special when we can honor the service and sacrifice of the cherished men and women of our armed forces.

Donation Matching Challenge
 

• PFCU will give $1, up to $5,000, for every $1 donated by its Members
• 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Honor Flight South Florida to support their mission

• Donations can be made at any Power Financial Credit Union branch between October 13 ­­— November 10

What is Honor Flight South Florida?

Honor Flight South Florida is a 100% all-volunteer organization, dedicated to honoring all veterans in Broward, Dade, and Monroe counties. Honor Flight South Florida flies veterans who served during the WWII, Korea and Vietnam conflict periods to Washington D.C. for an all-expenses paid trip to visit and reflect at the memorials built in their honor. It is Honor Flight South Florida’s goal to help every veteran, willing and able of getting on a plane and a bus, to visit their memorial.

Come show your support for our heroes and meet some of the extraordinary Honor Flight South Florida veterans to thank them for their service. All members are invited to join us for refreshments and sweet treats.
