Before You Begin

Am I eligible to apply online?

Membership benefits are entitled to those who:

  • Live or work in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, Manatee,  Pinellas, Sarasota and Martin Counties.
  • Are an immediate family member of someone who is already a Credit Union Member
  • Are a member of a Special Employee Group (SEG)

 

What information will I need to open my account online?

All new members must provide a valid Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number, Drivers License, Passport, previous home addresses, and a credit card, debit card, or US checking or saving account for initial deposit.

What happens after my I submit my application?

Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from Power Financial Credit Union.  A credit union representative will review the information provided.  If any additional information or documentation is needed to process your application, you will receive a phone call or email.  You will also be contacted when a decision has been made about your application. 

Is there another way I can open my account other than using your online application?
